Summer Resources

I’m a big believer in summer activities! It’s great for kiddos to get a break from the grind of the school year, but it’s also a great time for them to expand on their interests and build their skills!

Welcome

Providing Therapy and Testing to Children of All Ages

I am a clinical psychologist with over 17 years of experience who focuses on working with children of all ages and their families. I particularly enjoy testing and providing therapy for children birth through five as well as teenagers, which means I also work closely with caregivers.

I provide neuropsychological assessment in areas including academic difficulties, ADHD, autism, behavioral problems, and emotional concerns. I have training assessing very young children as well as older children and adults.

In therapy, I particularly enjoy working with toddlers and teenagers and their main developmental focus: striving for independence. This often results in defiance, tantrums, talking back, etc. I also focus on working with children and families to overcome any traumas or stressors that they may encounter as well as working to strengthen attachment between parents and children. My post-doctoral fellowship focused on adoption.

In addition to these areas of speciality, I also work with children and adults to help them manage feelings of anger, depression, anxiety, and grief/loss. I also can help those struggling with transitions in life (e.g., new school, parents’ divorce), self-esteem, bullying, and social skills. I enjoy working with parents to discuss their feelings about parenting and anything in their own lives that might be impacting their parenting. I am a certified yoga teacher, and I incorporate mindfulness and relaxation skills into therapy.
